Anxiety Calming Vest
Does your dog suffer from anxiety? or specific triggers cause your dog anxiety? Like going to the vet? Fireworks? Car rides? Storms? Loud parties? Staying home alone?
Our anxiety calming vests may be the right solution for you. It comes in navy or fuscia in small or medium. Strong velcro is used to close vest at collar and around the body. Please refer to our Size Guide for correct sizing. Vest should fit snug. Read more on our blog post on how to use anxiety vest appropriately.

HOW TO USE-
*It is important your dog get used to the vest by having them wear it in a comfortable and calm environment. After each step we suggest offering your pup a treat. Give your dog a choice of when to wear the vest and they should only wear it as long as they want to.
1. Take the vest to an area of your home that they find calming i.e their bed, beloved blanket, or a safe corner. Try to be consistent with where you put on the vest.
2. If your pup is interested in the vest, they will cue you by coming to you and the vest i.e they will sniff it.
3. After letting your dog check you move in a way that suggests you will put it on the dog such as opening it.
4. If your pup reacts positively, you can move on to perhaps putting the vest on them without closing it.
5. The last step would be to get the vest on completely.
6. Once your dog has been acclimated to the vest in non stressful situations, you can move on to putting on their vest in anticipation of stressful stimuli such as a firework holiday, a coming thunderstorm, or a trip to the vet.
How long should they wear the vest? It’s up to our dog! They may signal to us by putting their head down, or chewing at the front of the vest or rolling around to try and get it off.We know them best and they will let us know when they are done with it!
